The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 ( NASB )

God is a merciful God! He desires that all come to the saving knowledge of Jesus and that none perish. This is opposite of how so many people view God.

Their picture of God is a wrong one, they portray a God that is angry all the time, that He wants to punish men and women for not doing right. The opposite is what I see, I see in this scripture a God that is patient toward us. He knows that we struggle yet He is patient with us because He want all to come to Him.

God uses people to present the gospel to the world. Whether through a church service or one on one He uses people to present a gospel of love and reconciliation. If anything He is waiting on us to present the gospel to a people that are lost and undone.

God is a loving and caring God that desires for us to come to Him and receive the gift of salvation. The Bible says, we have to believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths Jesus is Lord and we can be saved. It is a free gift we just have to reach out in faith and receive the gift of salvation.

I hope today as you read this the Holy Spirit reveals to you that God isn’t mad at you he’s mad about you! If you believe in your heart that Jesus came to this earth, lived a sinless life, died on a cross for the sins of humanity, rose the third day and is seated at the right hand of God then ask Him into your heart you will be saved.

My prayer is that you will receive Him, your life will be changed for the better.
