Paul in the Bible was a leader, he influenced cities to come to Christ! Paul was an apostle in that he set up churches and installed pastors to lead them. Two specific leaders were Timothy and Titus, which are both biblical leaders.

After installing of these men as leaders there arose problems within their churches. Paul writing to both addressed the issues and gave specific instructions in who to empower to lead with them. Paul leadership qualities that if used today to choose leaders would save the church lots of problems.

Paul was very specific in the requirements for leader that were to be chosen to help lead in the church. The qualities covered all areas of the leader’s life: personal life, family life, social life, financial life, and professional life.

As all of us have seen in the media over the last 20 years if a leader’s personal life is out of order it bleeds over into every are of their life. Paul chose specific traits that deal with the leader’s personal character over gifts or talents.
